A noncustodial parent has a right to visitation.

And, The Courts must respect that right. The Courts may not order NO Visitation, without JUST and More than sufficient cause. That means a person is entitled to "due process," (full hearing, forensics, the right to call witnessess, etc.).

If the Courts find the noncustodial parent to have questionable morals, health habits or other characteristics that might make visitation not in the child's best interests.....on a private basis; the parent may still seek and obtain supervised visitation.

A criminal record alone is usually insufficient to prevent visitation. The Court must consider the circumstance on a case by case basis.

GET A LAWYER. PETITION FOR VISITATION. BE PREPARED TO SHOW HOW AND WHY YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR CHILD. WHAT BENEFITS OR CONTRIBUTIONS DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE YOUR CHILD.

GOOD LUCK,
