Re: Order Of Protection
Do you have an attorney? If not, you should get one. The contact permitted between you and your wife depends on the terms of the order and any visitation order to which it may be subject. If no contact is permitted and she is calling or e-mailing you, you need to address that through attorneys or at least bring it to the Court's attention. Feel free to call my office to schedule a consultation.
Re: Order Of Protection
The answer to your question is technically yes. Most orders of protection are one sided and benefit the person receiving the protection. The majority of the time, the order will prohibit one party from contacting the other but it only goes one way. If your ex is contacting you, you need to bring this to the attention of the court or the police. I recommend that you have an attorney when you do this.
