Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Palimony

I was involved for 13 years, never married, although engaged at one time, my ex bought a house for''us'',but is currently living with his girlfriend there - he cheated for 3 years - which I only found out about recently - I supported him emotionally for years until he became a successful stockbroker, do I have any recourse? More info available upon request - thank you

Re: Palimony

You might have recourse depending on what promises he made that were serious and thatyou can prove. Just living with him for 13 years isn't enough. But it'd definitely worth it for you to discuss the details with a lawyer. It could be a good case.Jeremy Morley
