Can a Paralegal officiate an uncontested Divorce?

Hello,

I was talking to a paralegal today and she

said that she could obtain an uncontested divorce

for me for $500.00. Can a paralegal legally

initiate the legal paperwork for such decree for

the Judge or Family Court to declare binding?...

A para legal cannot represent you. In fact, if he/she does, I believe the he/she is engaged in the unauthorized practice of law.
