Re: Parental rights
Since the mother was found "neglectful", the court has decided it is in the Best Interest of the Child to be available for adoption by another family. In order to do this they must terminate your parental rights. If you wish to fight this you MUST answer the summons. You will need to show the court that you are fit, capable and willing to raise the child and that the "Best Interest" of the child is to be with you.
Re: Parental rights
You can fight this in court, with or without a lawyer.
It would help to have a lawyer who is knowledgable in this area of law.
