Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Parental rights and responsibilities

I may have a child with a woman who is married. I live in Texas and she lives in New York. There is still a possibility I may not be the father so we are going to have a dna test done. If I do turn out to be the father the husband of the mother wants to adopt the child. If I give up Parental rights and the child is adopted by the husband, am I still responsible for paying child support?
