parental rights

my 16 year old daughter is pregnant by a 20 year old man, is this statutory rape in New York and what can we do to stop the pregancy.

In New York, you must be 17 to legally consent to have sex so yes that is statutory rape and you need to file a complaint.

I do not know if it is statutory rape. You must report the incident to the District Attorney's office.

Your daughter retains decision to stop the pregnancy.
