Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Parental termination

I would like to know how long do I have to appeal after losing my parental rights? My children were placed in foster care December 1998 and I lost my rights in October 2001.I know they are in the process of being adopted.

Do I have a chance at getting them back? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Re: Parental termination

You do retain the right to make a showing that it is in the best interest of the children that they be returned to your supervision. You must make a motion before the Family Court which includes evidentiary facts that your 'situation/status/etc has changed. You are welcome to a consultation for no fee at my offices at 42 West 44th Street, NY,NY. Please call for an appointment first. (646)591-5786 or (718) 729-2029
