If the parents are unmarried can a mother keep the father from seeing his child.

Perhaps there are some reasons for denying visitation but with no other facts, then the answer is no.

If she is withhold your child, you should file for shared custody or visitation. At the same time, if you are not paying child support, it is likely she will file for support during or immediately after the proceedings.
