Legal Question in Family Law in New York
If one party was asked for a discovery demand and asked since May, and has not complied yet so the conference with the judge had to be canceled due to this, does it look bad for this person and what can happen to this person?

I assume the judge gave the opposing party a deadline for serving discovery. If so, if discovery is not served by that date, the other person should notify the court of the contempt. The person is subject to sanctions. The judge has discretion on the type of sanctions s/he can impose,
