paternity test

I have been payin child support for a son who is 8 yrs old, never had a paternity test done is it to late in the state of NY?

Maybe. If you have been acting like his father for the past 8 years (paying child support, visiting the child, emotionally caring for the child) you are constructively the child's father even if your name is not on the birth certificate and even if you never had a paternity test.
