Do I have to pay health insurance after divorce?

I have been marry 5 years, I file for divorce 7 months ago, We have been living separated for more than 18 months, however my spouse contested demanding that is not able to pay Cobra, My Spouse have Diabetes for more than 25 years. She owns a four family house, She has more than 80,000 in saving and CD's, She is not working for any employee since 17 months, Now We have to go to court. Could she be granted that I pay Cobra for her or will I get divorce? No children in this married but I have 2 children from previously who live with me.

Please advise.

If the court directs you to pay for her health insurance, in effect that is an award of maintenance. There are a lot of factors that go into an award for maintenance. Therefore, to answer your question, "could she be granted that I pay Cobra for her," the answer would be yes depending on your particular situation.
