Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am paying child support for my two daughter, my oldest left for collage on August 26 TH. Since I'm paying for her college room and board is there some kind of formula to determine how much I should deduct from her half of my child support? We have joint custody but the children live with there mother.

Your child support payment was probably established by a stipulation in Supreme Court in a divorce action or in Family Court in a support action. Either way, you must go to court to make an application for a modification of your child support obligation. If you don't anything you don't pay will be considered arrears and will be held against you if the child's mother brings an enforcement or contempt action in court.
