Legal Question in Family Law in New York

paying child support

I am a single male living in N.Y.C. My girlfriend & I have a 2 month old child that was born & still lives with her mom in N.J. Were never married. Question is which child support law would this situation fall under & what is the percentage of that state??

Re: paying child support

Since the mother and child reside in NJ, the petition for child support would be filed in NJ. Concerning the amount of child support, you would have to ask the question to a NJ attorney.
