Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am paying child supports to my ex-wife who recently remarried. I did not pay her Alimony. I just got a new letter in the mail from the CSCU with her new name and a completely new Child Support case number with no amount or arrears due. Does this mean its a fresh start? Do i keep paying to the old her and case number the amount i was paying? I was going to file a modification to the current (old name and case number) order but now that she is remarried and i got these new papers i dont know what i should do. Does this mean court appearances all over again?!?! Like i said, everything says "$00.00" on the new papers but there is arrears on the old. What should i do?

You need to see an attorney with the paperwork so the attorney has all of the facts in front of them. This is not a situation that can be answered via e-mail.

Safe to say that you will not be absolved of the arrears. This was most likely a mistake or paperwork snafu and must be corrected or it will only get worse.
