pending divorce case

My spouse started a divorce proceeding. Only the summons has been filed. It has been over six months. If he prolongs completing the process, what can I do to make sure that the divorce become final? Can I start a case of my own?

You can request a preliminary conference with a judge. The judge will push the case along.

Your lawyer should be negotiating a settlement with his lawyer. Did you respond to the summons?
