pending grandparent custody/visitation issue, child and i live in nassau county NY for 2 yrs, petitioner lives in suffolk county ny, father and i were unmarried and have a court order for custody and visitation in suffolk county NY. which county should have jurisdiction over this case?

Generally, venue is where the child is located - Nassau County. However, since there is a prior custody and visitation order in Suffolk County, venue may be changed to Suffolk.
