Legal Question in Family Law in New York

pensions

My ex husband is retiring and his pension is to be split under the Majauskas formula. Do I need to contact a lawyer even if this is already stated in the divorce papers?

I would never suggest engaging in the divorce process without having the representation of a competent attorney. The simplest problem can wind up in costly litigation later. Protect your rights and retain an attorney.
