Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am planning a trip to the United States with my 3yr old daughter for a holiday. While there I plan to visit her father who is a US Citizen (Both she and I are not -she was born in Trinidad, WI). He his willing to pay for the entire trip as he really wants to see her. He has never seen her, does not support her in any way, and his name not on any of her documents. Since last year he has been expressing a desire to have my daughter attain US citizenship and possibly start school in the US, so he can be closer to her. My concern/question - Is there anyway he can stop us from leaving the US at the end of our trip? For example claiming that I have kidnapped his child etc? I did read that in any event, they need the parent/guardian's consent to check paternity/do tests etc, however if I refuse, what occurs then?

TRACEY BLOODSAW LAW OFFICE OF TRACEY A. BLOODSAW

He can if he can prove that he's the father and that she has a bond/relationship with you. But this would take some time.
