Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Power of Attorney, Guardianship

My uncle lives in PA. I live in NY. He is incapacitated and we want full custody. Is it better to get a PA lawyer or is it OK to have a NY lawyer?

The Power of Attorney will be in Pennsylvania and the attorney should be admitted in Pennsylvania.
