Legal Question in Family Law in New York

prenupital agreement

My husband and I currently have a prenup that was signed over 4 years ago, and my husband agreed to tear it up and end the agreement. Besides destroying the agreement, is there anything else we have to do to annul it? Thank you for your help.

The revocation should also be in a writing executed with the requisite formalities.

I think you should consult with an attorney in private.

To ensure that he does not bring it up again in the future, I would suggest having him sign another agreement rescinding the prenuptial.
