Legal Question in Family Law in New York

So I have a problem, I am under legal custody by my aunt but I still live with my mom and aunt. After an incident that happened a couple nights ago my mother bought me a ticket to Colombia for the whole summer... my legal guardian gives her permission to take me but I refuse to go. I am 17 so is there any way I wouldn't have to go?

At 17 you can be forced to go if your legal guardian says you must go. You could become emancipated but it would depend on your birth date and you will need to demonstrate that you can support yourself. There are other factors but those are the two most important.
