Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I'm in the process of getting a divorce in NY state and currently receiving spousal support as deemed by the judge since august 2011. The judge has determined that I'm to get alimony for 3 years, since our marriage lasted more than 10 years. Does the time that I've received spousal support factor into those 3 years once the divorce is final?
