Legal Question in Family Law in New York

property

approx 6 years ago my business burned that my husband and i owned together. there was a 108,000.00 insurance check illegally cashed by him. he ran to another state in the meantime i was left with all the debt. i lost my home which was only 2 years old. after he served 6 months in jail he got out and filed bankrupcy and said i was on there to clear things up. approx 6 months ago i was informed that i was never put on. we have been divorced for 3 years. now hes selling the business. do i have any rights to any of the money from the sale??? please let me know. thank you wendy

You needed your own lawyer then (when your husband first absconded) and NOW, to answer your questions. You need direct guidance and assistance in clearing up a mess that you do not appear to have been "present" or conscious of

when it was happening.
