Legal Question in Family Law in New York

If I receive disability and are unable to work, do I still have to pay child support? And my child receives money from disability also? I was unemployed when I was told I had to pay child support and it has remained the same even after I became legally disabled. Can I get a reconsideration and an adjustment to what I owe?

As in "Yes, you have to pay child support." Whether you can get a recalculation of your future amounts due requires more information. You should consult a local family law attorney to discuss your options.
