Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I received a letter in the mail. A notice to appear in court. This is from Family Court in Dutchess County NY. The letter was address to My first name, the wrong middle initial, my maiden name with a hyphn and my present last name. This name does not match my legal name on my license, social security card. Is this legal? Do I have to honor the letter? Should I call the court?

It never pays to ignore a Court notice. I would contact the court.
