Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I recently found out that I am not the biological father of my ex girlfriend's baby. How do I remove my name from the birth certificate and get refunded monies spent taking care of the kid? I live in New York State

Refund your not going to get but to remove your name you should file a petition in court for paternity.
