Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have recently been served an Order Enforcing an Order of Support for not paying child support due to addiction related stuff. Can I nagatiate a paydown amount to my regular monthly payment or will they automatically garnish wages? Do I need a lawyer to nagotiate this?

I do recommend that you speak with a lawyer. The Child Support enforcement service in your area may be willing to permit you to pay arrears in small increments if you can maintain regular payments.
