Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Relief from Child Support Collection Agency
I'm paying Child Support and the Rockland County SCU will not release my NYS Drivers License or clear my Credit Rating unless I pay them one payment $195.00; The Rockland County Family Court Hearing Examiner, Catheren Miklitsch, ordered me to pay $100.00 per month June 3, 2003. I've been paying it since March 6, 2003 and I'm current. How do I get relief from SCU? What laws do I need to look up and where would I find them?
