Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Is He Responcible?

I was rapped from that came a child. few years down the line I was married, my husband agreed to adopt her, we went to court and had the bio. father sign off his rights to her, and he did so willingly. My husband then devided not to adopt my daughter, and now he wants a divorce.

Is he still responcible for supporting her?

if not who gets in trouble (if any one) for making my child a bastard?

thank you.
