Responsibility of ex-husband

What if any, is the responsibilities of a divorced man, after all children are grown and married? Is there any responsibility to the ex wife?

If you were only getting child support, then there is no further obligation. If you were awarded a portion of his retirement then you will be provided that when either he or you are eligible, depending on the provisions in your divorce judgment.

Unless awarded alimony, the only obligation is based on his pension and should have been decided pursuant to the divorce. IF things are already split and support is finished, he is done.

Absent "dire" need, an Ex spouse does not have an obligation to support, or care for, an Ex-Spouse.

However, responsibilities and obligations, included, incorporated or ordered, in the parties' Stipulations, Agreements or Divorce Judgment, re retirement income, pension, spousal support, etc., may continue past the majority of the parties' children, unless terminated by operation of the Agreement or a valid Court Order.
