Legal Question in Family Law in New York

revise divorce

I have been divorced for quite some time. I continue to have problems with my ex not following the divorce. Such as, he was ordered to pay me half of his 401k years ago, haven't seen a dime. How can I take hime to court for this and other things and have divorce revised?

Re: revise divorce

If your divorce was in NY then you will have to go to a NY court AND you should submit your question to a NY forum NOT a NM forum. Even if you live in NM and if your divorce was in NY you will have to have this matter addressed in the NY courts.

I would suggest that you see an attorney who carries a NY license as soon as possible. If you were supposed to get a share of a 401 "several years ago" and you have done nothing to protect yourself and your interest in the 401 you may have a lot more troubles than you think.

The time to act is NOW ~ don't wait any longer than you already have.
