Legal Question in Family Law in New York

rights

i am trying to find out how my ex boyfriend can sign over the rights to our son. he does not want to pay child support or have a relationship with him and we have agreed that he will sign over his rights. i want to make sure it is done right and legally so that he cant come back years down the road and start issues with myself and my son. can you please tell me how i can do this? thanks so much.

Re: rights

this is a proceeding called termination of parental rights - not just a matter of "signing over" - there must be proper notice, and hopefully an appearance. We can assist - please don't hesitate to contact us at five one six, two four eight, four thousand.
