Legal Question in Family Law in New York

What rights does a non custodial parent have?

I have posted once before on this site . . .but I have some newer questions, here is the shortest version of this mess.

I am a non custodial parent. My ex husband uses my children to hurt me in anyway that he can. He lives in NY, I live in CT. I need to speak with a lawyer in NY, preferrably in the Hudson Valley. I have a lot of questions about joint legal custody and reversing a child custody order.

There is a lot more to this than I can put in this post. If you can help me, I would really appreciate it!

Thank you

Your rights, duties and obligations should be outlined in the custody court order; or your custody agreement, stipulation or judgment of divorce.

You may contact a bar association, in the county where your ex and child live, for a listing of attorneys that usually practice in that area.

You may also contact the Supreme Court Matrimonial Part or Family Court, in the area of jurisdiction, and ask for a referral number for their local bar associations.

GOOD LUCK
