Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Hi
my name is Rob, i live in NYC I met a lady 5 weeeks ago and we dated for a week.
We talked about birth control matters and she said she cannot have kids because she tried for 3 years with ex and never happened.
Then We had sex and she is now pregnant. We both are not in love with each other;
Now we dont talk and do not see each other.
She wants to have the child 100% but I am not ready and, honestly, I dont want to be responsible for it.
What options do i have? i feel overwhelmed somwhow lied upon re her fertility.
She seems understanding and she said she does not want my help.
Is there any financial agreement i can do now with her to avoid fighitng for child support/custody in the future?
thank you so much

Can child support be waived?
An often asked question is whether child support can be waived. The law is that Family Court Act 451 prohibits the cancellation of child support arrears once they have accrued.
However, parties may enter into a binding agreement to waive future child support payments before they accrue. What is needed is a binding written agreement, demonstrating a voluntary and intentional relinquishment of a known right.
It is strongly recommended that you have an attorney immediately prepare an agreement in the proper form to protect your rights.
I agree with the previous attorney's answer. Hire an attorney,who is knowledgeable with family law, to draft an agreement for you. Hurry.
