Legal Question in Family Law in New York
during a rough patch in our marriage, my husband had an affair with a women who lives 3 hours away from us in a ski community he was frequenting. the affair has been over for more than a year and our marriage has been repaired with one exception. the women still constantly calls my husband on his cell. he has told her numerous times to stop calling- maybe not as firmly as needed. she calls him a minimum of twice a week, sometimes daily. occasionally after prodding...you need to call me, please call,etc...he has called her back ,briefly, more or less to get her off his back. i have a real problem with this. i think anyone who calls obsessively like his, still so long after relationship has ended..has mental issues and behaving in a stalkerish manner. do i have any rights in this matter in order to protect myself and my family? am i able to file anything civilly or criminally against this women?

Why doesn't your husband just change is cellular telephone number?
To file a criminal complaint you would have to contact the District Attorney. The intake attorney would make the decision as to whether a criminal complaint should be filed.
