Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Seperated for 8 years!

Hello,Both me and my wife are British

Citizens and we were married in Atl

GA,were we lived for 4 years. We moved

to NYC in 96,split up and she returned

to England were she now resides.I live

in NYC as a Permanent Resident. We

have no children or property and have

agreed to Divorce. We have been

seperated, her in England and me in

NYC, for about 8 years. I would now like

to re marry. What are my options and

what is the quickest way for us to

complete this divorce?

You can proceed with an uncontested divorce in NY. You or an attorney can prepare the papers for you and your wife to sign, file them and wait for the court to enter judgment. Feel free to call our office for more information.
