Legal Question in Family Law in New York

seperation agreement

Hello. I am a new attorney and I am doing a seperation agreement for a couple that just want to seperate and not divorce yet. I have done uncontested divorces before. When all the parties sign off on the seperation agreement, do I file it with the matrimonial sectionl at the Nassau County Clerk's Office? Thhanks.
