Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Seperation agrement void?

My wife and I split in Nov.2003. We are going threw a divorce now. The problem I have is that when we first split we had a seperation agreement writen up. We ended up getting back before it was signed. A couple of weeks later we split for good. I signed the agreement at home. I was in court yesterday and her attonrey said we could not change the agreement. My problem is that it was noterized with out me being there. I signed at home in front of her not anyone else. Does this make the agreement void. I dont have enough money to hire someone so I am doing it myself. I wasnt sure what steps I had to take to void this S.A.?

Re: Seperation agrement void?

Don't be "penny wise pound foolish" Get a lawyer to examine the Agreement and assess your case ASAP.

What you say you don't have for a lawyer could end up going to your EX and,,,,

GOOD LUCK,
