Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I got served a restraining order from my exboyfriend. All the acussations listed were false. I never went to jail or gotten into trouble with the law. I don't know what to do or how to go about doing anything. Can u tell me what am I to do?

There should be a court date on the documents received by you. You must appear in Court to answer the charges. You may want representation by an attorney. Ultimately there will be a hearing to determine if the allegations are true.
