Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I was just served with a Summons with Notice to begin a divorce action by my spouse, but I have absolutely NO money to spend on an attorney. I don't want to represent myself, but I have literally no resources to spend on an attorney and I have no idea what to do. My spouse has an attorney, but they tell me that they have no money to spare to help me obtain counsel, and considering what I know about my spouse's finances, I believe them.

So I was wondering if New York or New York City specifically has contingency lawyers or attorneys that will help out low-income people.
