Sexual Abuse, Unsupervised and custody

I am 15 years old. My father sexually abused me when I

was 3 years old. He is constantly bringing my mother to

court and demanding unsupervised visits with him. It

was court ordered that i go to counseling with him last

year. While there I told him that I no longer wanted to

see or speak to him again. three days ago My mom got

papers from his lawyer saying that he wants

unsupervized visits with me, to take away the child

support checks.I have told many people about my

feelings for my dad and it seems as though they view

me unimportant. I wanted to know what my rights are

as a 15 year old and if somehow I could get some tips

on how to move foward with this case. The court date is

in Febuary and I need closure from my past and the

only way to do this is by winning this case and them

hearing what I have to say. i want to be prepared and

confident that the judge and jury with respect me as an

american citizen.

Realistically, your father cannot force you to see him after you reach the age of 14. I suggest you go to court with your mother on the return date and make your feelings known. If the court does not want to hear you directly, you can hire your own lawyer. If you cannot afford one, ask that the court give you an attorney of your choosing or to appoint one to speak for you.
