What is the time limit on a show cause order if the prevailing party in a matrimonial matter is given a directive by the judge to settle judgement on notice. The do not do that nor do they file a notice of judgement in the clerks office. They do however submit papers in a reply to a motion stating that they did serve a notice of entry on the losing party's attorney with an affidavit of service by mail to that attorney's last know address. However upon investigation that attorney had left that address for about a month and all mail was returned to senders.

No time limit for Order to Show cause for improper service.
