Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am a single divorced parent. My x-wife remarried and she and her husband's combine income exceeds mine by $175K plus per year. Since my x-wife's life style is considerably better than mine, country club, vacations, etc. Do I have grounds for child support? We have joint legal and physical (50/50) custody. I make approximately $85K per year

The Court does not have to consider the new husband's income in a support proceeding, after all, he has no legal obligation to support your children. The Court may direct your wife to pay a higher percentage of child support add ons (i.e. camp, child care, medical, etc.) You should speak to a family law attorney before you proceed in Court.
