Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My son is 19, a high school senior, and doesn't live with me or his father. I pay child support to the paternal grandmother who moved to Fl leaving my son to live in her house in NY. Does the NY law require that she live with the child she is receiving child support for?

If she is providing his support, meaning he is not supporting himself, then yes you are still responsible to pay for him. You should find out if he is employed full time and self supporting.
