Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have a son who recently turned 18. he lives in PA. and I live in NY. I pay child support from an order established in ny. You are a legal adult @ 18 in PA and 21 in ny. Can i get an order for termination and restitution from his 18th birthdate? who recieves the $ if I still have to pay? TY

The age of emancipation in New York is 21. If the order is from New York, New York law applies.

While the child can emancipate themselves earlier than 21 i.e. getting married, getting a full time job and moving out of the mother's home, other situations like the child going to college or living home while working part time will not constitue an emancipation.
