Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My son is 12 yrs old. We have joint custody. The divorce was final May 2008. My issue is that my son has religious ed on Sundays and when he is at his dads every other week he refuses to go because his father doesnt want me picking him up. His dad works on Sundays and isnt there to get him to religious ed. I was picking him up with no issues the past 2 years since the divorce but this year my ex has a new girlfriend that he just met 2 months ago. She stays at his place on the weekends and I am not comfortable with this on the weekends my son is there. My ex wants his new girlfriend to get him to religion instead of having me do it. I am not comfortable with this either. Hes only known her for 2 months and he gives my son the impression that he is to rely on this person now while he is working instead of calling me. What can i do about this situation, I want sole custody of my son and dont want this person around my son trying to replace me as she has no right to make any decisions about my son during his dads visitation days. My ex is telling me otherwise and has told me its none of my business what they do when its his weekend.
