i want my son's father's name off the birth certificate.

how can i get my son's father's name off of the birth certificate. no dna test has been done and i don't want one done. he signed the acknoledgment of paternity. but i had a c-section and i was under medication and if i wasn't i wouldn't have let him. i want the father to say unknown. so how can i have his name token off without a dna test being done.

Removing his name from the birth certificate will not terminate his presumptive parental rights. Unfortunately, you are going to have to go through legal proceedings to determine paternity if you are unsure who the father is. This will eventually involve a DNA test. If he is the father, you are stuck with him in that capacity. Barring statutory grounds or other specific circumstances, you (or he for that matter) will find it almost impossible to terminate his parental rights.
