State tax refund

I am a custodial parent.My daughters father claimed her on his state tax and i was denied.What can i do to resolve this?I also have full custody.

Re: State tax refund

The tax law provides that the custodial parent is permitted to claim the child as a dependent. The non-custodial parent may claim the child only if the custodial parent signs a form to allow this. You should contact the taxing authorities and/or your tax advisor for further information.
