Statute of Limitations

How long does it take to prepare and forward an Order on a disposed divorce case dated back in September 2007 from Defendant's Attorney to Plaintiff once the judge from a NY Supreme Court disposes the case through his memo?

Re: Statute of Limitations

There is no "statute of limitations" on this. However, the attorney usually has 60 days to submit the Order to the Judge for signature. The Judge then can take as much as 6 months AND LONGER!

I am waiting for an Order since September as well.

An uncontested divorce is MUCH quicker....like 6 weeks!
